'Organization Development' (OD) is a term that is familiar to many in the international business community, but may not be well-understood.

This two-day workshop is designed for those who may have had some exposure to the OD theory and practice and desire a deeper understanding. That understanding will be achieved through an introduction and review of the theoretical framework of OD, discussion of the values and challenges that inform this practice, presentation and discussion of the criteria of successful interventions and the linkage between leadership and activities that support 'planned' change.

(Day 1).
Practitioners attempting to implement OD theory and practice in global, hybrid, or domestic Japanese organization cultures encounter unique challenges. These challenges will be surfaced in (Day 2), a review of process consultation techniques such as organization assessment, coaching and facilitation to be followed by hands-on practice in applying these techniques to case studies generated in the Japan environment.
