embrace_diversity.jpg"Diversity" in the Japanese workplace is still considered in its infancy among the developed or industrialized nations. In fact, Japan remains at the bottom levels in typical "diversity indicators" such as ratios of female executives in the Boards or Management Teams of companies and employee demographics in terms of national origins, gender, beliefs, or background. Moreover, the country's current diversity-related legislation are weak or toothless and even insufficient.

With the continued ageing and shrinking of Japan's population compounded by the ever increasing speed of globalization, can Japan maintain this status quo and continue to regard "diversity" as a luxury to have or a MUST for her survival?

If your answer to the preceding question is to recognize, accept, and leverage the concepts and practices of "diversity" as a management tool for better product development and service delivery, we invite you to this informative and engaging event.

In this luncheon, key success factors of Diversity Management as a business strategy and required mindsets and skills to fully utilize diversity will be presented and discussed by Mr. Kiichiro Nakamura, an independent management & diversity consultant and
former HR Manager at Procter & Gamble Japan.

Topics include:
  • Diversity Basics
  • Diversity Management: History & Key Success Factors
  • Diversity as Business Strategy and a Competitive Advantage
  • Diversity Mindsets & Skills
By attending this event, you will also have a chance to meet other diversity professionals and practitioners and learn from their best practices as well.

REGISTER NOW as seats are limited.
