Japan's older population without jobs could grow 29% by 2050

TOKYO (Kyodo) -- Japan needs to implement reforms as people aged 50 or older and out of the workforce could increase 29 percent to 59 per 100 workers by 2050 from 2018, straining public retirement schemes, the OECD said in a recent report.
