Whether to meet a legal obligation or because of pressure from stakeholders, many employers are facing growing demands to be more transparent about pay. While a thoughtful and well-executed pay transparency can help employers attract and retain top candidates, foster trust with employees, and make progress on diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) goals, transparency is not one-sizefits-all.
