JHRS actively seeks guidance and advices from recognized HR thought-leaders as well as seasoned and accomplished HR professionals in Japan to help accomplish our mission and vision. We are very grateful for their wisdom and support.  

Mr. Shinya Yamamoto, Partner, PricewaterhouseCoopers HRS Co. Ltd. and Professor, Graduate School of Business Science, University of Tsukuba

 1985年慶應義塾大学理工学部管理工学科卒業。エプソン株式会社（現セイコーエプソン株式会社）入社。1990年イリノイ大学経営学修士課程修了（MBA）。1999年プライスウォーターハウスクーパースGHRSディレクター。2002年中央青山監査法人事業開発本部HRソリューション室長ディレクターを経て、2004年８月から現職。現在、日本人材マネジメント協会の幹事も務める。
著書に「新任マネジャーの行動学」（日本経団連出版）「21世紀の“戦略型”人事部」（共著、日本労働研究機構・2002）他、専門雑誌などへの掲載多数。人事戦略に関する講演経験も豊富。

Mr. Yamamoto is a Partner in charge of PwC Human Resources Services practice in Japan. He has more than 18 years of experience in HR management consulting, servicing to both Japanese and foreign-affilated companies in Japan and overseas subsidiaries of Japanese companies.

His recent professional activities include HR strategy development, performance management design, HR effectiveness consulting, HR development (management training), along with numerous experience in HR transaction services such as HR due diligence, integration and redesigning of HR systems, down sizing, HR administration and communications.

Bilingual in Japanese and English, Mr. Yamamoto is a frequent speaker at HRM conferences and seminars in Japan, and an author of several HRM books in Japanese.  He holds BS Engineering from Keio University in Tokyo and MBA from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

約20年に渡り、継続してHR領域における実務とコンサルティングの両面から経験を積んできました。日本企業と外資系企業、また日本のみならず欧州、米国での経験もあり、日本と欧米のマネジメントスタイルに幅広く対応できます。主要な領域としては、M&A等における人事制度や企業文化の統合、新たな組織・制度導入に際してのチェンジマネジメント、導入プロセスと人事制度設計、人材育成・開発の設計と実施、などが挙げられます。

また経済産業大臣認定・登録の中小企業診断士であり、The Japan HR Society (JHRS) の顧問でもあります。学歴は、慶応大学経済学部で学士を、米国カリフォルニア大学サンタバーバラ校で経済学修士を取得しています。

Mr. Enomoto has almost 20 years of solid HR experience both as a practitioner and as a consultant. He has worked with Japanese and foreign-affiliated firms not only in Japan but also in the US and Europe making him very well-versed in both Japanese and Western styles of management. His main expertise includes M&A/integration of HR schemes and/or company cultures, change management in introducing new organization, work processes, and HR structures, and planning and implementation of people training and development.

He is also a registered management consultant for small and medium enterprises (SMEs) by the Japanese Government. Academically, he has a BA Economics from Keio University and MA Economics from the University of California in Santa Barbara.

Mr. Chikao Kawakami, Senior Consultant, Anemoni

Mr. Kawakami has over 25 years of progressive experience in international business and HR management gained from major global multinational corporations (MNCs). He has worked in the US, UK, Japan, China, and Singapore across various industries such as pharmaceutical, telecommunications, automobile, biotechnology, etc.

In early part of his career, he was involved in cross cultural technology transfer at Stanford University and eventually became one of the founding consultants for a cross cultural consultancy in Palo Alto. 

After fulfilling overseas senior manager position for Arthur Andersen, San Francisco and London, Mr. Kawakami started his career in Human Capital Management and Organizational Development focusing on areas such as strategic, product, or organizational changes.

Currently, Mr. Kawakami is based in Singapore as a senior consultant for Anemoni---a consulting firm that develops network organization for knowledge management and performance enhancement.

He gained his BA and MA degrees in Educational Communication from the International Christian University (ICU).
