WELCOME MESSAGES

The HR Certification Institute (HRCI) values our relationship with The Japan HR Society (JHRS). We are committed to developing and delivering the highest quality certification programs that validate mastery in the field of HR management, and we know that JHRS is just as committed to the field of Human Resources.

This shared interest is mutually beneficial – we want to help JHRS find ways to support HR professionals in Japan through offering access to others in our growing network of 130,000+ certified HR professionals. We also know that by working with JHRS – and tapping into such dedicated and committed HR leaders – that we gain access to the sharpest business and professional minds in the HR field in your country.

Our comprehensive portfolio of advanced professional credentials for HR professionals
worldwide now includes two additional global credentials.  The Human Resource Business Professional (HRBP℠) and Human Resource Management Professional (HRMP℠) are growing in popularity worldwide because they offer a readily recognizable signal to colleagues of the high levels of professionalism and proficiency held by those who have earned them. This is increasingly important in today’s interconnected global marketplace.

Studies have shown that HR professionals certified by HRCI enhance their credibility and the organizations they serve. Working with an organization as prestigious as JHRS helps the HRCI expand its credibility within the HR profession in Japan. Thank you for your valuable support and collaboration with us.

We look forward to working with you in the coming years to help advance the HR profession in Japan!

(HRCI)

We are truly honored and excited about our alliance with the HR Certification Institute (HRCI) as we view this as yet another strategic move to bring us one step closer to help achieve JHRS’ primary mission of advancing the HR agenda in Japan. Through this alliance, we hope to bring to Japan a world-class and credible HR credentialing system that Japan-focused HR professionals can use to help bring their HR skills and competencies at par with their global HR counterparts.

As an HRCI-certified HR professional myself, I can very well attest to the rigor and high standards of excellence and integrity that HRCI undertakes in preparing, administering, and maintaining an HR credentialing system that in itself elevates the status of the HR profession to a higher level.

However, the real benefit of going through this certification process is not only the ability to use globally-recognized HRCI designations (e.g., HRMP, HRBP, GPHR, etc.) but more importantly, the “learning process” that one goes through while preparing for the exam. By diligently going through the various learning materials as part of this HR certification preparation process, an HR professional naturally learns more about advanced and cutting-edge HR thoughts, philosophies, processes and systems.

Hence, I highly encourage other HR professionals to ‘get noticed’ and indeed, to ‘commit to higher standards’ for themselves and the HR profession.

HRCI and JHRS: Alliance partners in advancing the HR agenda.

The Japan HR Society (JHRS)

It is with great pleasure that we announce our alliance with the HR Certification Institute (HRCI), an internationally recognized credentialing body for the HR profession.  HRCI is the global leader in developing rigorous exams to demonstrate mastery and real-world application of forward-thinking HR practices, policies, and principles.  As such, HRCI has certified over 125,000 HR professionals to date, among them the first cohort of Japanese HR professionals, certified in May 2012.

As part of its activities in alliance with JHRS, HRCI will provide support and assistance as The JHRS Academy joins its List of Approved Training Providers.  In the future, programs and courses offered through the Academy will seek HRCI’s designation as Approved for Credit Programs, which can be taken to meet the requirements for certification and re-certification.

We hope that you will consider expanding and affirming your HR acumen by successfully completing HRCI’s certification.
