Tokyo, Japan (28 June 2010) - The Japan HR Society (JHRS) and eCornell, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Cornell University, jointly announced today its partnership in bringing Ivy League professional education to Japan through the formation of the JHRS eACADEMY--powered by eCornell, a division of the JHRS Academy.

"As an authorized distributor of eCornell courses in Japan, we are excited and honored to bring this professional development opportunity to Japan-focused HR and business professionals," says Dana Gallagher, Dean and Academic Director of the JHRS Academy while JHRS Chief Community Officer, Jun Kabigting believes that through this partnership, JHRS is now able to provide an alternative and convenient way for its members to meet their continuing education needs to help them 'win' in the global market place.

"We look forward to working closely with The Japan HR Society to deliver high-quality online programs to the many human resource professionals in Japan," said Chris Proulx, CEO of eCornell. "While 100% online, eCornell courses allow students to interact with expert instructors and a cohort of peers located internationally to collectively develop knowledge, and to effectively apply that knowledge in the workplace."
