Japan wages remain under pressure amid pandemic

The pandemic continued to take its toll on Japanese workers' wages in March, with part-timers suffering a bigger impact. The labor ministry released preliminary figures on Friday. They show that the average income for full-time employees for the month fell 0.3 percent from a year earlier to 365,804 yen. That's about 3,350 dollars.
