Japan's police rush to take early retirement before pay cut

About 230 police officers and personnel in Aichi and Hyogo prefectures are seeking to retire early, as they could receive an average 1.4 million yen to 1.5 million yen more than they would after ordinances expected to be revised this fiscal year take effect.
