Ex-employee sues manga publisher for wrongful termination

A 28-year-old woman who was fired for allegedly pocketing prizes that were meant for readers is suing her former employer, Tokyo-based Akita Publishing Co., for 3.3 million yen (approx. $33,200) in compensation. The woman claims she was fired because she dared to point out that the manga company was lying about the prizes they were giving away.
