Japan – Ratio of jobseekers to jobs highest in 24 years, jobless rate steady in April

The ratio of jobseekers to jobs in Japan rose to 1.34 in April, its highest rate since 1991, while the jobless rate in April remained at 3.2%, unchanged from the previous month, according to the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare.
