Traditionally, outplacement services—programs designed to assist departing employees in transitioning to new employment—have been reserved for large enterprises. The costs and complexities of these programs have previously placed them out of reach for small and mediumsized enterprises (SMEs). Larger companies, on the other hand, have the resources to implement these programs—and it’s a good thing, since outplacement has always been imperative to protecting their employer brand.
