Just because you’re ready and willing to grow, doesn’t mean you are able. As the economy shifts into gear for 2011 (even if it’s a low gear!), it is likely that companies of all sizes will begin hiring in earnest. But those looking to hire a significant number of technical candidates this year may be surprised by what they find.

Despite high unemployment, qualified technical talent (such as hardware/software engineers) is in short supply. Furthermore, demand for technical talent is increasing exponentially. So, if attracting and acquiring technical talent is part of your strategy for growth in 2011 and beyond, you will need an aggressive candidate-sourcing program.
