Once upon a time “the Human Resources organization was a small, tightly focused group within a company, mostly focused on labor relations. Today, Human Resources is involved in almost every aspect of the business, with direct impact to the bottom line” (from Hannabarger and Buchman, authors of ‘Balanced Scorecard Strategy for Dummies’.

Though it has been around for some time, there are some advances being made in the Balanced Scorecard. Once viewed as only a process, The Balanced Scorecard is now being viewed as a system for management. This white paper suggests a clear system for bringing the Scorecard to a visible “dashboard” helping all employees understand their roles in reaching the organization’s strategic goals.
